TINSMITH (JOURNEYMAN) – Full Time (40 h)

Location: Saint-Georges (Beauce) – interventions at our clients' locations in the region (possible travel depending on the projects). Headquarters address: 13875, boulevard Lacroix, Saint-Georges, QC G5Y 1P6.
Company: Crystal Group – heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and electricity; established presence in Beauce for over 30 years.
Schedule: Full time, 40 h/week.

Your mission

As a journeyman tinsmith, you will contribute to the quality and safety of our clients' installations by taking charge of the fabrication and installation of sheet metal works and HVAC systems.

Main responsibilities

• Trace, fabricate, and install sheet metal objects (gutters, cladding, architectural elements), according to plans and specifications.
• Assemble, install, and repair ducts and ventilation, air conditioning, and hot air heating systems.
• Apply processes of drawing, cutting, bending, anchoring, and assembly (mechanical/thermal).
• Read and interpret technical plans; select appropriate materials and methods.
• Ensure the quality, cleanliness, and safety of the work environment at all times (OHS standards).

Profile sought

• Journeyman Competency Certificate (JCC) – Tinsmithing valid (CCQ).
• DEP in tinsmithing-sheet metal work (asset).
• Key skills: autonomy, meticulousness, dexterity, working at heights, sense of responsibility.
• Reading plans and understanding HVAC systems.
• Driving license class 5 valid (travel to sites).
